With Regular Verbs the Continuous always end in -ing to form Continuous tense.
With Regular Verbs the Past Simple and Past Participle always end in -ed to form Past Simple and Past Participle tenses.
With Regular Verbs the Continuous also end in -ing to form Continuous tense.
However, the Continuous, Past and Participle tenses of Irregular Verbs are different.
Example:
Go, Going, Went, Gone

Irregular verbs are an important feature of English.
The most famous English verb of all, the verb "to be", is irregular:
